Final project for a COMM studies advanced class at UNC-CH: A scene from Good Will Hunting (which we called "Hrunting" because we liked swords). I operated the camera (a 16mm Bolex).
After a portrait, we did a scene as a warm-up for something bigger to come, and experimenting with lighting. For how minimalist this one is, I'm pretty happy with how it's held up. This was part of a longer piece as of yet unmade.
One of our first assignments for intermediate COMM class was to construct a Chase sequence. Following not the letter but the spirit, I did this pseudo-stop-animation thing, which at least amused myself greatly.
Beginning COMM class at UNC-CH. Assignment: adaptation. I have no idea how we came to twist this fractured fairy tale as we did, but it was a blast. Silly, sure, but we were proud of it.
